The misadventures of BIG NATE come to life on Nickelodeon and PARAMOUNT+

The misadventures of Fat Nate are coming to Nickelodeon and Paramount+. The all-new animated series produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio is based on the best-selling children’s books and comics written and drawn by a renowned author and cartoonist. Lincoln Peirce.

The series, which premieres on Nickelodeon Monday, February 21 and streams on Paramount+ beginning Tuesday, February 22, follows a precocious 11-year-old boy named Nate and his best friends as they navigate sixth grade with humor and style. .

Fat Nate will feature all-new, original storylines centered around Nate, a sixth-grade kid who has an endless need to prove to the world that he’s awesome. Whether it’s disasters at home or detention at school, Nate Wright is no stranger to challenges. Fortunately, he is able to express himself through the world of cartoons he creates. Charming, mischievous and fond of mishaps, Nate always finds a way to turn trouble into fun.

In the series premiere, The Legend of Gunting, Nate has multiple detentions on file, as usual. But this time, he’s just one detention away from a fate only talked about in the halls of PS 38. Meanwhile, the wacky new kid is determined to become Nate’s prank partner. Jack Black (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) guest stars like Brad Gunter, a prankster of epic proportions and Nate’s inspiration, and Daniel Jacobs (Hail King Julien: Exile) lends his voice as Bentley Carter, the new kid on PS 38 eager to wreak havoc on the school, both teachers and students.

The additional lineup of stellar actors lending their voice talent to beloved characters from Fat Nate include, Ben Giroux (as Nate Wright); Dove Cameron (as Ellen Wright); Rob Delaney (as Martin Wright); Brice Charles (as Dee Dee Holloway); Daniel MK Cohen (as Francis Pope); Arnie Pantoja (as Teddy Ortiz); Charlie Schlatter (as Chad Applewhite); Kevin Michael Richardson (as Principal Nichols); Caroline Hennessy (as Mrs. Godfrey); Nik Dodani (as Randy); Betsy Sodaro (like Kim); Lisa Kay Jennings (as Gina); Chandni Parek (like Jenny); Todd Haberkorn (like Arthur); Ryan Garcia (like Mr. Rosa); Mike Rivkin (like Mr. Galvin) and Chester rushing (like Zeff).

Fat Nate is produced by mitch watson (Hail King Julien) and John Cohen (The Angry Birds Movie) and produced by Amy McKenna (Beware the Batman), with Lincoln Peirce serving as a consultant throughout development and production. Bridget McMeel is a co-producer.

Fat Nate joins Paramount+’s growing lineup of original and exclusive kids’ shows, including Star Trek: Prodigy; Rugrats, Kamp Koral: Spongebob is less than a year old and original movie The J-Team.
