WWII Fly Girls
The Lone Star Flight Museum launches Fly Girls of World War II, its new temporary exhibit featuring the inspiring stories of American women known to history as WASPs (Women Airforce Service Pilots) who answered the call to service during the Second World War. Visitors to the exhibit will hear heroic pilots’ personal insights into triumph and perseverance, view original World War II uniforms and memorabilia, and learn how these brave women changed the face of the United States military.
