Nickelodeon’s first original animated series in five years, Most in the middle, will be presented later this month.

The John Trabbic III series (Sponge Bob SquarePants) follows an ancient rain cloud, a muscular mailman, and their magical walrus as they deliver packages to the unusual inhabitants of Mount Middlemost.

Ramsey Naito, President, Animation and Development, Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation, said: “Most in the middle captures everything we’re looking for in a new series – an imaginative and truly unique world, lovable characters who care deeply about each other, and great comedic moments to drive the story.

“The series is created by our own John Trabbic, along with his writing partner Dave Johnson, and we look forward to bringing the characters and locations of this artist-led series to life for our global audiences.”

In the first episode, titled First Delivery, while delivering a letter to a house that never receives mail, the gang goes to war to get to its front door. Then, in Chore or Less, in an effort to be more like Angus, Parker does the chores and realizes that they are actually boring.

The Middlemost Post vocal cast includes Becky Robinson (Kipo and the Age of Wonders) as Parker J. Cloud, an exuberant, relentlessly kind, over-enthusiastic and above all flexible cloud whose desire is to spread joy; John DiMaggio (Futurama) as Angus Roy Shackelton, boss of Parker and owner of the Middlemost Post; Kiren (Raising Hope) as Lily, Parker’s best friend and master inventor; Colton Dunn (Superstore) as Mayor Peeve, the little mayor of the town of Somewhere locked in a one-sided feud with Angus; and Johnny Pemberton (In the Loop) as Ryan, mayor Peeve’s loyal assistant.

Middlemost Post is created and co-produced by John Trabbic III. Dave Johnson is Co-Executive Producer and Story Editor for Middlemost Post, with production overseen by Kelley Gardner, Vice President, Current Series, Animation, Nickelodeon.

Monday, November 29 at 4 p.m. on Nickelodeon.
