Pop Icon Makhadzi and Sbahle Mzizi Win Big at Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

The winners of the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards have been announced.

The awards, voted on by the public, saw Makhadzi named Favorite African Star of the Year, while four-year-old internet phenom Sbahle Mzizi was named Favorite African Kidfluencer of the Year.

“We are truly proud of our champions from Africa and thrilled with their accomplishments and the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards they have received. Their fans have spoken, and we hope they continue to hold the continent’s flag high,” said Monde Twala, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Paramount in Africa.

“I am thrilled to be a winner of the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. This is one of my biggest accomplishments since I started my music career. I would like to express my gratitude to all of my supporters who have voted for me and believe in my music. It’s a dream come true in every sense of the word,” Makhadzi said.
