Viacom18’s leading children’s entertainment franchise, Nickelodeon, through its thought-provoking initiatives, has succeeded in captivating and entertaining young minds. As a pioneer in promoting the benefits of yoga to children this International Yoga Day, Nickelodeon is ready to take Yoga Day celebrations to the next level by bringing back its flagship #YogaSeHiHoga campaign and introducing thousands children into the wonderful world of yoga.

As part of the campaign, Nickelodeon is poised to engage children across the country with an array of on-air creatives establishing the benefits of yoga in relevant ways. On top of that, the campaign will witness fun interactivity where kids will have a chance to be featured on TV by sharing their yoga poses online. Commenting on his association with Nickelodeon for the third consecutive year, Smt. Kavita Garg, Co-Secretary of the Ayush Ministry, said: “Over the past two years, children have experienced high levels of stress and lived sedentary lifestyles, making it imperative to help them get back on track. their routine and to instill positive energy through the power of yoga. We’re extremely pleased with Nickelodeon’s year-over-year initiative to help toddlers instill healthy habits at a young age through innovative formats. We truly believe our association with Nickelodeon will truly help children understand the essence of balance in human relationships through yoga, leveraging the affinity of their favorite Nicktoons!

The Nicktoons have actively championed the benefits of yoga, inspiring children towards a healthier and more balanced life. In 2019, the campaign saw Motu and Patlu practice yoga with Prime Minister Narendra Modi with 40,000 people at the Prabhat Tara Ground and partnered with Mumbai’s biggest yoga event – ‘Yoga by the Bay’, which was attended by attended over 10,000 yogis with Nicktoons Shiva and Rudra in attendance. Last year, due to the pandemic, Nickelodeon celebrated Yoga Day virtually in partnership with the AYUSH Ministry and highlighted the importance of building a healthier immune system. The digital partnership was widely promoted through interactive publications and videos, followed by a nationwide contest that reached over 6,30,000 mothers and children through digital media and received over 3,000 entries under the Yoga contest hosted on the brand platform. To ensure wide reach and promote yoga ahead of International Yoga Day, Nickelodeon will drive engagement for #YogaSeHiHoga this year through a strong influencer marketing campaign, the entire Nickelodeon franchise on air and on the digitally as well as on its social media channels.
