Hungrybox and MkLeo will face off in a first-to-five in a Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl pre-release stream

Liquid | Hungrybox and T1 | MkLeo will face off in a first-to-five Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl during a Hungrybox stream. The stakes are high because this is a $ 100 cash game.

While Hungrybox’s experience with Platform Brawlers comes mostly from his time with Super Smash Bros. Melee, MkLeo made a name for himself in Super Smash Bros. 4 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. While MkLeo is incredibly dominant in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, it’s safe to say that Hungrybox has the advantage here since Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl takes a lot of inspiration from Melee.

Unsurprisingly, Hungrybox’s favorite character is Nigel Thornberry. While the character doesn’t have multiple jumps beyond the double jump, Nigel is said to be a character who plays similarly to Melee’s Jigglypuff.

Nigel’s greatest strength is his special down. This move is extremely powerful, but has a small hitbox and a ton of cooldown attached to it. Indeed, this is basically Jigglypuff’s Rest special from the Super Smash Bros. series.

MkLeo chose to play Patrick Star during this high stakes set. Patrick is indeed the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl grappler.

Unlike the Bowser-cide or Ganon-cide series from Super Smash Bros., Patrick’s suicidal command entry sequences will kill the opponent first. This is something that Hungrybox will surely have to watch out for when both players are on their last stocks.
