Disneyland Ride is said to be in bad shape after a week of closure
Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land has been closed for more than a week after an incident in which terrified guests were trapped in a smoking vehicle.
Disney California Adventure guests welcomed the Pixar-themed ride Cars (2006), back at Disneyland Resort last weekend.
On Saturday, a guest was excited to board the attraction shortly after it reopened, but was disappointed with the state of the Disney attraction. Reddit user u/tristpa2 wrote that the ride stopped halfway for more than a minute and the emergency exit signs were “no longer visible”.
The guest explained that these signs are usually dimmed for a more immersive experience, and while they are required to be lit by law, emergency exit signs are usually dimmer.
Another guest agreed, saying that before closing the emergency exit signs were only lit about half the time. Reddit user u/j3nndaisy wrote:
On my trip at the end of April the exit signs were lit up and I found that odd. The next day I went again, they were gone.
In another comment, the original Disneyland Resort guest explained that the sheriff’s animatronics weren’t rolling as they should, a recurring issue noticed by Disney fans.
