Comedian and entertainer Josh Peck arrives at ETSU on March 27

Buctainment is inviting well-known comedian and actor Josh Peck to ETSU to host a Q&A session on March 27.

“Students should not miss this unique opportunity to see Josh Peck in person. They don’t want to miss the opportunity to hear his advice,” said Morgan Colley, president of special events and staff programmer for Buctainment.

The Q&A session will be held at Brooks Gym on the ETSU campus on Sunday, March 27 at 7 p.m. Students, faculty and staff can attend the event for free, while the general public must purchase tickets online.

Last semester, Buctainment sent out an email with a poll to let students choose who they wanted to see live; the students chose Peck.

Peck is most recognizable for his roles on popular Nickelodeon television shows “Drake and Josh” and “The Amanda Show.” He is currently attracting audiences through his role as a social media influencer and comedian.

The event will continue with Peck answering questions Buctainment sends him ahead of time; the questions are generated by the students. Peck will then answer those questions live and incorporate humor and comedy into his answers.

“The first 150 students to get their ticket will receive a signed copy of his new book,” Colley said.

Peck’s memoir “Happy People Are Annoying” follows the challenges he faced as an actor, writer, comedian, and influencer. It also tracks the most successful and happiest moments of his life. The memoir will be released on March 15 but can be pre-ordered now.

Tickets go on sale March 7 starting at 10 a.m. They can be purchased online. More information on tickets and submitting questions will be provided with the following link:
