6 Exclusive Christmas Bearbricks On Our Wish List
The Japanese company MEDICOM TOY spared no effort this Christmas for its most famous export, the Bearbrick.
Founded by Tatsuhiko Akashi in 2001, these vinyl collectibles have expanded to include a variety of action figures inspired by superheroes, fashion, modern art, and more.
Some are of course more valuable than others since they have brought in thousands of dollars at auction, including Christie’s.
Additionally, Bearbrick has collaborated with renowned entertainment companies, fashion houses and museums, including Disney, Pixar, Chanel, Nike, Hermès, Comme Des Garçons, Phil Frost, Levis and Stüssy and the Van Gogh Museum, to release exclusive collectibles.
For the festivities, however, Medicom Toy has created a number of holiday-themed Bearbricks. From Christmas trees and snowflakes to some of the most well-known Disney and Pixar characters, these exclusive Bearbricks will delight you and all of your guests.
Below are six exclusive Christmas Bearbricks on our wishlist this holiday season:
(Main and Featured Image: BE @ RBRICK)
A sight to see with its translucent green legs and black top half, this Bearbrick features a green Christmas tree print to the front.
A huge golden star replaces the eyes of the figurine, referring to the star mounted on top of the Christmas tree. Her head and arms are dotted with white stars, adding just the right amount of cuteness to this bear-shaped figure.
The Xmas BE @ RBRICK 2011 is only available in one size: 100% (70mm).
